The United Firefighters’ Union of Australia – Victoria Branch Discretionary Trust Arrangement (UFUVDT) subsidises the annual premium members pay for the GU Health (nib) insurance (single or family policy).  The UFUVDT also pays the hospital excess in the event a member or a family member (covered under the policy) are admitted to hospital.

Highlights of the program include:

Premium contribution

UFUVDT contributes $750 towards your annual premium. Payment of this contribution is made directly to GU Health (nib), reducing the overall premium you pay.

Hospital excess

UFUVDT will pay the hospital excess in the event of your admission to hospital. Payment of this contribution is made via GU Health (nib) reducing your out of pocket expenses.

UFUVDT tailored health program and enhanced coverage through the group purchasing power of the UFUV.
