As part of her new role, Camille Bertin will bring a 360-degree strategic vision of the insurance world, acquired through her experience in brokerage, insurance, and commodities trading. This appointment demonstrates Howden France's commitment to strengthening its team of experts to offer cutting-edge insurance solutions and better support its clients in managing their risks in the cargo transportation sector.

As part of this approach to supporting companies in the cargo transportation sector, the Howden Group recently announced the launch of a new war risk insurance policy to protect ships against drone and missile attacks carried out by militia groups based in Yemen in the Red Sea. This is the first dedicated insurance coverage of its kind to protect cargo ships in an active conflict zone, highlighting Howden's commitment to developing solutions for complex risks, such as geopolitical unrest, while alleviating pressure on global supply chains.
