Our founder David Howden shared why he feels that insurance is “the battery in the Tesla” and how it has helped many industries to grow over the years.

With the industry adopting digitalisation at pace due to the pandemic, our founder believes that expert advice to clients is still what sets the best brokers apart. “Brokers [and] insurers need to be very clear about what clients have covered. And if we let ourselves down, then shame on us.”

The group has come a long way. Earlier in September, we struck a £700m deal to acquire broker A-Plan.

The combined business will be a $1bn revenue Group. We have grown tremendously over the years from a small office in London to a global player with offices in over 40 countries. Despite the growth, we continue to remain as a private company with employees being our biggest shareholder group.

“We’re not for sale, never will be. We haven’t built it for the last quarter-century to sell it out to someone else”.
